I know what you went through during this difficult time from Tracker last summer, during which Colter trekked across a beautiful Pacific Northwest park in search of missing campers.
At times, I couldn’t concentrate on the dialogue even for a second because of how captivating the landscape of Tracker Season 2 Episode 6 was.
But it was another exciting hour of what quickly turns out to be another entertaining part of the action-drama series.

Sophomore decline is a very real thing in the world of television, and this season still has a lot of trackers left, but so far, cases have been extremely interesting for the most part, even if the first season has had some struggles right now. is also present.
Everyone else except Colter and Rainey are still being sidelined, perhaps more than ever. Still, there’s something inherently fresh and exciting about the cases, places, and people Colter meets this season in his quest to track down the missing and claim their rewards.
Every hour hasn’t been a home run, but it’s been fun. And that’s really all you want from a show like this.
The missing campers saga brought Colter to a park where a group of friends mysteriously disappeared after a night of drinking and talking about heading to a waterfall under a super blue moon.
We could see that someone was watching them, so it seemed like this would be a case in which Colter would eventually learn that there was some crazy person in the woods hunting people for sport or something of that nature, And it looked like things were going that way when Colter met Keaton.
If Renee, Billy, or Russell are not available, Colter often meets someone in law enforcement who helps him in some way, even if the relationship is controversial.

Keaton was a law enforcement officer but of the retired variety. He was pursuing a cold case in the park that he could not clear even after retirement. After the initial male exchange, the two discover they have a lot in common.
Colter doesn’t really give the impression that he’s looking for company at any point, but once the two men talked, it became clear that they could help each other.
Colter knows all about chasing demons from the past, and the similarities between the two cases were too strong to ignore.
Keaton was an old-fashioned policeman and the kind of man who could never rest knowing that something he had promised to do had to be done. No matter how much time passed, the desire to solve this case never left him.
He is never satisfied with giving up because he is not wired that way. Sound familiar?
Colter is a lone wolf all the time, but his partnerships are usually good, especially in cases like this, where he and Keaton had a lot in common.

There was a lot unspoken between the two because of their immediate relationship. They were virtual strangers, yet it felt like they had known each other for years based on how well they worked together.
How they saw a bullet and the way it hit a rock and were able to accurately determine where it was probably shot from is an acquired skill, and once they got to that hidden hut But when they stumbled, they were right on top of the shooter.
It was still too early to piece everything together, but who would have guessed that it would go off the rails so spectacularly?
Marcus might have been Keaton’s man, but he wasn’t the one Colter was looking for.
Colter and Keaton’s meeting on that mountain was a blessing, even if it was caused by a tragedy. Had they not been there, Marcus would have continued his rampage on those who dared to set foot in the mountains.
Marcus gives Colter the information he needs to open the case, when he says that the friends looked like they were ready to kill each other, and he just had to sit and watch.

It was such a curveball, but when things started to fall into place, my first thought was this ’90s horror classic starring Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar because whenever people talk about hiding something from years ago, When I start doing this, my mind goes to a guy. In a slicker and Jennifer Love Hewitt is screaming.
It’s a crazy thing to think about friends running over a man while driving drunk and then disposing of his body to live out their lives for 8 years as if nothing happened, but the cop’s conscience It became so intense that it could not be ignored.
Since he had been paying Natalie for years, his conscience was always at work, even if he didn’t actually have the means to do so.
Clearly, he was not satisfied with dying for his sins, but interestingly, he went to Jason and Monica, hoping that they would feel the same way he did and wanted to be innocent, While knowing that it was very unlikely.
Jason and Monica had clearly moved on and were in a place where they weren’t ready to ruin everything they’d built over the years.
They were the ones who got away with murder and they had no problem with it – it was even considered the college’s fault.

But Cop was the one who got away with murder but could never admit it. She tried to compensate herself with money until it was enough to ease her immense grief.
I kept thinking that either Jason or Monica would come over and agree with Coop, but that wasn’t happening in that apartment. The cop may not have intended to kill Jason, but I have no doubt that the couple would have killed him if the cop had taken no action.
Due to all of their covers being missing during the trip, once Jason and Monica got into that computer, they could delete the emails, eliminate Cop, and then dispose of his body in the same manner. Like they did to Brian’s body.
They were a dirty and evil couple. He may have made a mistake initially, but from there, he showed no remorse and was willing to compound this tragedy with even more pain in order to maintain the life he had built.
How Monica was able to wrap up Coop’s body, drag him out of that apartment, and load him into the car, without anyone seeing or cameras catching them, is beyond logic, but that’s why we never saw anything like it. .
Everything that led to Colter and Keaton finding them on that dock, though Coop ultimately surviving was definitely a twist!

Then again, Monica was two seconds away from killing him and she wouldn’t have even thought twice about it. Killing to save a secret is a story as old as time.
Colter and Keaton teaming up to save the day was definitely a highlight, and I appreciate that they finally found someone on one of these cases that Colter could connect with beyond just a case.
Justin Hartley often has great chemistry with everyone, and I can think of a few people he’s been involved with who I wouldn’t mind seeing again.
Assigning Keaton to look into Gina’s case guarantees that he’ll be back, and I like how they chose to tie that story in with this case.
Colter often dwells in the past; Apparently, so does Keaton. Although we can debate whether this is healthy or not, what it is right now is the reality. So, why not use both of their cold case passions and turn them into something good?

tracker notes
- Not enough Velma. Not enough Bobby. Free them from their phones and get them into action in no time!
- Sorry, but Colter and Rainey actually remain the better caliber ships. They sit across from each other, drinking champagne from mugs, and I giggle and kick my feet.
- That waterfall was charming. They have visited some really beautiful places this season.
- Are there any plans to extend the Shaw family drama? I have to admit that the stories are so good that I’m thinking about it less and less, but I still don’t want them to get so carried away with it that we forget it exists.
